ラッセル・クロウと共演した「ノア」（2014年）は大作でしたが、主役ではなかったので例外とすると、ハーマイオニーにとっては、2011年にホグワーツ魔法魔術学校を卒業して以来の約5年ぶりにして、初めて単独で大ヒットを狙うことになるブロックバスターの勝負映画が、ついに、そのイメージの片りんをかいま見せてくれました…！！







18世紀に、G・ド・ヴィルヌーヴ夫人とJ・L・ド・ボーモン夫人が、それぞれ本の形にまとめたフランスの民話が元ネタなので、その原作をあらためて映像化した…と書くのが最も正確ですが、しかし、映画の位置づけとしては、世界中で現在、大ヒットしている「ジャングル・ブック」や、アンジェリーナ・ジョリーとエルたんが共演した「マレフィセント」（2014年）、リリー・ジェームズ主演の「シンデレラ」（2015年）などに続く作品なので、ディズニーの名作アニメ実写化シリーズの最新作という紹介になる「美女と野獣」が初公開した予告編です…！！と言っても…、

ご覧のように、あの「ハリポタ」のハーマイオニー・グレンジャーがヒロインのベルを演じる実写版の「美女と野獣」がやって来ますよ！！と、まずは世間に告知することを目的にした最も最初の予告編のいわゆるティーザーだけに、野獣になってしまった王子が暮らしているらしい城の様子と、魔法のバラをチラと観られただけですが、これまでの名作アニメ実写化シリーズの作品に負けず劣らず美しいイメージからして、「Mr.ホームズ」（2015年）のビル・コンドン監督を起用したディズニーの実写化の方向性には、いつも通り、誤まりはなさそうだ…！！と、ディズニー・ファンの方は、これだけで充分に期待を持てたのではないでしょうか…！！


タイトルロールの野獣の王子に扮して、ハーマイオニーのベルと共演したのは、テレビシリーズ「ダウントン・アビー」で注目を集め、スリラー映画「ザ・ゲスト」（2014年）に主演したダン・スティーヴンス！！、ベルを自分の妻にしようとする悪役のガストンは、「フューリアス 6」（2013年）でも非情な悪役を演じたルーク・エヴァンズ！！、そのガストンの手下のル・フウとして、「フローズン」（2013年）のオラフの声で知られるジョシュ・ギャッドが登場するほか、ユアン・マクレガーのロウソクのルミエール、エマ・トンプソンのポット夫人らに加えて、ケヴィン・クライン、スタンリー・トゥッチ、ググ・バサ＝ロー、そして、名探偵ホームズも時計のコグスワース役で参加してくれた実写版「美女と野獣」は、来年2017年3月17日全米公開！！、レア・セドゥーとヴァンサン・カッセルが共演したフランス映画の実写版「美女と野獣」（2014年）と観比べるのも楽しみですね…！！

Directed by Oscar® winner Bill Condon from a screenplay by TBD based on the 1991 animated film, the film is produced by Mandeville Films’ David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman with eight-time Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards® (Best Original Score and Best Song) for the 1991 animated film, providing the score, which will include new recordings of the original songs written by Menken and Howard Ashman, as well as several new songs written by Menken and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice. “Beauty and the Beast” will be released in U.S. theaters on March 17, 2017.
