ダーク・ファンタジーの鬼才のティム・バートン監督がメガホンをとって、2010年3月に世界各国で公開された前作の「アリス・イン・ワンダーランド」が、トータルの興業成績で、10億ドル以上をも売り上げるウルトラ・メガヒットになった背景には、その前年2009年末に、ジェームズ・キャメロン監督がSFアドベンチャー「アバター」を封切って、映画興業史上最大のヒットを記録するほどにまで巻き起こしてくれた 3Dブームの恩恵があるのは間違いないと言えそうなだけに、もはや、3D映画は珍しくないどころか、観客が飽きてしまった現状を踏まえると、ルイス・キャロル原作の「アリス」シリーズが本当に観客に支持されているのか、どうか？！の人気の真価は、この続編でハッキリすることになりそうですね…！！






おかしな帽子屋さんのマッドハッターを再び演じた映画俳優のジョニー・デップとは本人関係のロック・ミュージシャンのジョニデがギタリストをつとめるバンド、ザ・ハリウッド・ヴァンパイアーズが、現地のロサンゼルスのステイプルズ・センターでは今日2月15日（月）の大統領の日の祝日に行われた第58回グラミー賞授賞式のステージで、パフォーマンスをしたのにあわせて、ディズニーがテレビ中継で披露した「アリス・スルー・ザ・ルッキング・グラス」の新しいTVトレイラーです…！！

記事の見出しのように、昨2015年秋に初公開された予告編では観られなかった新しい場面も追加されたとは言え、音楽の祭典で披露されただけあって、むしろ、映像の観どころよりも、ジェファーソン・エアプレインが、1967年に発表した同名代表曲を、シンガー・ソングライターのピンクがカバーしたテーマ曲 “ White Rabbit ” を耳にすることができた聴きどころが、このTVトレイラーの売りとなっています…！！、前作のアヴリル・ラヴィーンから代わって、テーマ曲を担当したピンクが、下 ↓ のプロモ・ビデオの中で語っている発言によれば、過去の名曲のカバーだけでなく、この「アリス 2」のためにオリジナルの新曲も書き下ろしたそうですから、映画館に足を運んだ時には、そのピンクによる、もうひとつの曲を耳にするのも楽しみのひとつだと言うことができそうですね…！！


さて、冒頭のようにシリーズの真価が試されそうな続篇のメガホンをとるという大役を担ってしまったのは、「ザ・マペッツ」シリーズのジェームズ・ボビン監督！！、前述のロック・ミュージシャンのジョニデのほか、アリスのミア・ヴァシコウスカ、白の女王のアン・ハサウェイと赤の女王のヘレナ・ボナム＝カーター、惜しくも先ごろ、天に召された名優の故アラン・リックマンのイモ虫のアブソレムらに再会できる全米公開日は、5月27日です！！、物語のプロットとしては、スパイ・コメディのバカ映画「ザ・ブラザーズ・グリムズビー」が来月3月11日から全米公開のサシャ・バロン・コーエンが演じる時計じかけの悪役の新キャラクター、“ 時間 ” を相手に、アリスがマッドハッターを救うため、大時計の中に仕込まれた “ クロノスフィア ” を使って、時を遡る冒険に挑むことになるそうです…！！

Alice Kingsleigh (Wasikowska) has spent the past few years following in her father’s footsteps and sailing the high seas. Upon her return to London, she comes across a magical looking glass and returns to the fantastical realm of Underland and her friends the White Rabbit (Sheen), Absolem (Rickman), the Cheshire Cat (Fry) and the Mad Hatter (Depp), who is not himself. The Hatter has lost his Muchness, so Mirana (Hathaway) sends Alice on a quest to borrow the Chronosphere, a metallic globe inside the chamber of the Grand Clock which powers all time. Returning to the past, she comes across friends – and enemies – at different points in their lives, and embarks on a perilous race to save the Hatter before time runs out. Presented in Digital 3D™, Real D 3D and IMAX® 3D, Disney’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass” opens in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2016.
