上映時間が約2時間半と、すでに少し長い映画の展開のペースを落とさないため、ギャレス・エヴァンス監督が泣く泣くカットせざるを得なかった…！！と言う、ギャング団同士がお互いに皆殺しの抗争シーンに加え、主人公のラマに扮したイコ・ウワイスが本来ならば、あまり身動きのとれない狭い車内で格闘する様子と、カーチェイスとをミックスした本編シーンのアクション・クリップをお楽しみください…！！








ギャレス・エヴァンス監督は、この約4分半にわたって、くり広げられるギャング団同士の皆殺しをカメラにおさめるために、約6日間を要したそうですから、その苦労の甲斐あって完成したシーンを、本当に編集でカットしてしまってよいものか、どうか…？！、悩み抜いた末、削除を選ぶのは、まさに苦渋の決断だったそうです…。なので、こうして披露してくれたわけですが、実際にシーンの出来栄えを観ると、ギャレス・エヴァンス監督の辛い気持ちには共感せざるを得ませんね…！！

He thought it was over. After fighting his way out of a building filled with gangsters and madmen ? a fight that left the bodies of police and gangsters alike piled in the halls ? rookie Jakarta cop Rama thought it was done and he could resume a normal life. He couldn’t have been more wrong.
Formidable though they may have been, Rama’s opponents in that fateful building were nothing more than small fish swimming in a pond much larger than he ever dreamed possible.
