FOX/ブルースカイ製作の大ヒット「アイス・エイジ」シリーズの第2弾(2006年)と第3弾(2009年)を連続して手がけ、動物アニメを得意とするカルロス・サルダーニャ監督が、自分のふるさとブラジルを舞台に、絶滅に瀕した危惧種のコンゴウインコのカップルの冒険を描いた最新作の動物アニメ「リオ」から、映画の冒頭約2分間のミュージカル・シーンをご覧ください…！！、主人公のオスのブルが鳥のくせに、どうして空を飛ぶことを恐れているのか？！、最初の予告編で描かれた屁タレの理由と思われるようなトラウマ体験？！らしき様子がかいま見られています…！！









この愉快な「リオ」で、主人公のコンゴウインコのカップルの声を担当しているのは、来月2月27日(日)に授賞式が行われる第83回アカデミー賞の最優秀主演男優賞に、「ソーシャル・ネットワーク」の演技でノミネートされたジェシー・アイゼンバーグと、その授賞式をとり仕切る司会のキャットウーマンAKAアン・ハサウェイです…！！

当然、3Dアニメの本作は今春4月15日から全米公開！！、音楽をセルジオ・メンデスと、ブラック・アイド・ピーズのウィル・アイ・アムが担当していることも話題です…！！
