サンディエゴ・コミック・コンに登場したガラドリエル＝ケイト・ブランシェットの写真を昨日、B面で紹介し、チラと告知しておいた「ザ・ホビット: ザ・バトル・オブ・ザ・ファイブ・アーミーズ」の予告編を、製作・配給のワーナー・ブラザースが初公開したので、早速お楽しみください…！！







ピーター・ジャクソン監督が、2001年に発表した「ロード・オブ・ザ・リング」トリロジーの第1弾から約13年間をかけて、原作者の J・R・R・トールキンが《中つ国》を舞台に描きだした大河ファンタジーの完全映画化を成し遂げた締めくくりの6本めの作品「ザ・バトル・オブ・ザ・ファイブ・アーミーズ」が、先週末の土曜日（7月26日）に、サンディエゴ・コミック・コンで披露した予告編を、ワーナー・ブラザースがオンラインにリリースしてくれました…！！

当初の「ゼア・アンド・バック・アゲイン」という、それだけでは映画の内容が今ひとつ、ピンとこないタイトルから、軍団抗争の勃発を描いた作品であることが如実に理解できる「ザ・バトル・オブ・ザ・ファイブ・アーミーズ」に改められた「ザ・ホビット」トリロジーの最終章のお話は…、


トップにアゲたコミコン・ポスター（↑）で、ルーク・エヴァンズの弓の名手バルドが対峙している竜のスマウグ＝ベネディクト・カンバーバッチを倒して、はなれ山を取り戻すことに成功するビルボとトーリンたちだったが、エレボールの王国の財宝をめぐって、狼の種族のワーグとゴブリンを相手に、ドワーフとエルフ、そして、人間たちとの間で軋轢が生じ、5つの軍団が衝突する新たな戦いが勃発することに…！！


…といった次第で、指環の覇権をめぐり、飽くなき欲の業が描かれた「ロード・オブ・ザ・リング」トリロジーと同様に、生き物の心の醜い面と、それを凌駕する高潔さとが、やはり、最終的なテーマになっているようですね…！！

“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the Company of Dwarves. Having reclaimed their homeland from the Dragon Smaug, the Company has unwittingly unleashed a deadly force into the world.
